My Cozumel Adventure
I landed in Cozumel with my beautiful Rasta plumage and met up with the local flamingo flock. They were enthralled with my new feather-do and wanted hear all about it. Some of the girl flamingos were obviously very jealous of all the attention I was getting and one of them tried to pull out my tail feathers. Imagine the nerve! I kicked her a good one.
Well, one really handsome boy-mingo caught my eye. His name is Enrico - he's tall and pink, and he can really sing, too. We spent a lot of time together and he taught me how to snorkel.
I loved seeing the colorful fish on the reef and even caught a ride on the back of a big sea turtle. I could dive down to the bottom of the ocean and swim along the sand for a long time, with my very beautiful Rasta curls flowing in the current behind me. I was a beautiful sight to behold!
As I swam gracefully along the bottom a huge shadow appeared over the top of me. When I looked up there was a gi-normous, black killer shark closing in on me! He'd seen those pretty Rasta culs flowing along and thought I was gigantic shrimp cocktail. His teeth chomped onto the back of my head , and if I hadn't been so very quick on my wings, he would have had me for lunch.
I high tailed it out of the water and headed for home as fast I could fly! I'll tell you about the adventure I had on my trip home next time.
